Welcome to Cosmos Candles!

The spark of inspiration for our name came during a breathtaking camping trip at a dark sky reserve in Wales. As we gazed up at the magnificent night sky and listened to the crackling of the campfire, we were filled with awe and wonder. It was in that moment that Cosmos Candles was born.

We began our journey by upcycling craft beer cans into candles, which quickly became beloved gifts for our friends and family. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response, we expanded our creations to include candles crafted from gin and rum bottles. The joy of transforming discarded objects into beautiful and functional pieces sparked our passion for eco-friendly candle making.

In 2023, Cosmos Candles officially launched as an eco-friendly candle business, dedicated to offering you out of this world creations. Each of our candles is hand poured on Planet Earth (Bath, UK), crafted in small batches with meticulous care. Inspired by the vastness and beauty of the cosmos, our candles feature hand-drawn and vectorised illustrations, creating a harmonious blend of art and scent. The heart of our collection lies in the thoughtful pairing of each design with a specific scent, resulting in our unique Cosmos Collection.

To ensure the highest quality and sustainability, we use completely natural Coconut and Rapeseed Oil wax, which not only burns cleanly but also provides a longer-lasting fragrance. Our candles feature natural wooden wicks that crackle gently, creating a cosy and comforting ambiance in your space. Each candle is contained within a matte black glass, adding a touch of sophistication to your decor.
